Facebook

With nearly 3 billion active profiles, Facebook is the world’s largest social media platform. So if your ideal customers have any sort of internet presence, they will likely have Facebook*.

You have two options for Facebook: the paid route and the organic route.

The Paid Route

Also know as premium, or paid-advertising, you set up a target demographic, and you pay for advertising. Facebook will place your ads in front of users that fit your target customer profile.

  • Paid advertising on Facebook is a powerful tool for businesses to reach their target audience and drive conversions. The process involves creating an ad campaign within Facebook’s Ads Manager, where you can define your target audience, budget, ad format, and duration.
  • To get started, you need to choose the objective of your campaign, such as increasing brand awareness, driving traffic to your website, or generating leads. You can then select your target audience based on demographics, interests, behaviors, and location.
  • Next, you can choose the ad format that best suits your campaign goals, such as a single image or video ad, carousel ads, or collection ads. You can also customize the ad’s text, headline, and call-to-action to align with your campaign message.
  • Finally, you set your budget and duration for the campaign, and Facebook will automatically optimize your ad delivery to maximize your reach and engagement with your target audience. You can monitor the performance of your campaign through the Ads Manager and adjust your targeting or budget as needed to improve your results.
  • Overall, Facebook’s paid advertising provides a cost-effective and efficient way for businesses to reach their audience and achieve their marketing objectives.

The Organic Route

Organic search on Facebook refers to the process of users finding your content through a search query within the platform. Facebook’s search function allows users to search for keywords, topics, pages, and groups, making it an excellent opportunity for businesses to increase their visibility and reach their target audience.

  • To optimize your organic search on Facebook, you need to ensure that your page and content are optimized for relevant keywords and topics. This includes creating a complete and up-to-date page with a clear description, profile picture, cover photo, and relevant tags.
  • Regularly posting high-quality content that resonates with your target audience can also help improve your organic search ranking on Facebook. This can include text posts, images, videos, and links to your website or blog.
  • Engagement with your audience, such as responding to comments and messages promptly, can also signal to Facebook that your page is active and valuable to users, improving your organic search visibility.
  • It’s worth noting that Facebook’s algorithm heavily prioritizes content from friends and family over business pages in users’ newsfeeds. As a result, businesses may need to supplement their organic search efforts with paid advertising to achieve their desired reach and engagement levels.
  • Overall, optimizing your Facebook page and content for organic search can help increase your visibility and reach on the platform, leading to increased engagement and conversions with your target audience.

Overall, Facebook can be a fantastic place to source potential leads either organically, slowly over time, or using paid advertisments and doing it quickly. As the largest platform for social media, it is listed here first. The same type of promotion of Paid and Free advertising will also apply ot the other social media platforms as well.

Instagram

With over 1 billion active users, Instagram has become one of the most popular social media platforms today. From small businesses to large corporations, Instagram has proven to be an effective tool for reaching out to potential customers and growing your online presence.

Instagram can provide your business with a fun and dynamic platform where you can share media to engage and retain potential followers and clients.

In order to get the most out of Instagram here are five proven ways on how to improve your Instagram game and build a strong brand presence.

1. Optimize Your Profile

Your Instagram profile is the first thing that visitors will see when they click on your profile, and therefore, it’s crucial to make a good first impression. The first step to optimize your Instagram profile is to choose a clear and professional profile picture that represents your brand, followed by a catchy bio that highlights what your business does, its core values and how visitors can contact you. Also, make sure to add a link to your website to increase traffic and visibility.

2. Post Consistently and Strategically

Consistency is key when it comes to building a strong social media presence. Create a content calendar and post regularly to engage your audience and increase your chances of gaining new followers. Optimize your posting schedule by identifying the best times to post your content, depending on your audience’s timezone and Instagram Insights. Ensure that your posts are engaging, well-organized and visually appealing to further increase engagements and followers.

3. Leverage Instagram Stories

Since the launch of Instagram Stories in 2016, it has become one of the most popular features of the platform, and used effectively, it can help attract more followers and boost brand visibility. Stories allow you to share behind-the-scenes moments, post product launches and events, and offer exclusive promotions and discounts. Use features like polls, questions, and sliders to engage your audience and increase interaction.

4. Utilize Hashtags

Hashtags are a great way to reach a larger audience on Instagram. By using relevant and trending hashtags, you can increase your posts’ visibility and reach a wider audience. Use a mix of broad and targeted hashtags in your posts and Instagram Stories to attract the right audience and get your brand noticed.

5. Engage With Your Followers

Lastly, to increase your engagement on the platform, you need to focus on your audience. Respond to comments, reply to DMs, and use Instagram Live to have Q&A sessions that foster deeper connections with your audience. This interaction will increase your reach, create brand loyalty, and increase conversions.
